Seaforth Function Room has adaptable seating and staging facilities that suit a variety of social functions. A versatile multi-function room for weddings, social club dinners, gala dinners, exhibitions and private social occasions. The Seaforth Function centre is fully equipped with state of the art kitchen, bar and full stage complete with sound and lighting equipment.
The Wine Room is ideally suited to most social functions, including christenings, birthday parties , engagement parties, and anniversaries. The Wine Room has its own bar area and balcony perfect for pre-dinner drinks and canapés.
Please note: bookings of 10 or more people for the Wine Room require a $5 deposit per person and at least 48 hours notice of cancellation or reduced numbers.
The Wine Room has Function Packages and Group Packages available. We had a FANTASTIC night – thank you! The venue worked perfectly, the staff were wonderful and the food absolutely delicious. Everyone commented too on how great The Wine Room is, so hopefully you will see more bookings in future! Thank for all your help,
The party was a huge success. Mum was so happy with the food and presentation by the staff and Club. Her guests couldn’t stop praising the selection of sandwiches, rolls, quiche and cakes and of course a few did manage to take home a little something encased in gladwrap . The birthday cake was a big hit and so good to eat. We were well looked after by Lucy and Justin who helped make the day a great success. The great grandchildren were delighted to be able to help, also get the opportunity to speak to Mum’s older friends. Mum, and everyone else, were so surprised when Channel 7 turned up to interview her on her big day. I didn’t get to see the segment but was told it was shown on the 6 pm news that night.Mum told me to particularly ask you to say thanks to the Chef for the delicious food enjoyed by all present. Guests were who had not previously been to Balgowlah RSL were very impressed with how the event was managed and presented. Perhaps a few return visits.I don’t have enough words express my thanks to you, the staff and Balgowlah RSL Club for their willingness and generosity of spirit in making the day so wonderful and memorable for Mum.
Mum's 90th on Sunday went perfectly. We would like to thank you for all your assistance, from our first contact with you and any of the staff at Balgowlah RSL, you were only too happy to help and were extremely accommodating, no matter how many times we called or dropped in.I think it was Nicki that was there when we arrived on Sunday morning, and organised bar stools, tables and anything else we requested immediately for us. The bar staff were friendly and efficient.The new head chef Shane came and introduced himself early on Sunday morning which was lovely. Frances, who was looking after the buffet was great and couldn't be more helpful.The facilities were great and the room looked beautiful.My mum had a truly wonderful and memorable 90th Birthday and I would like to sincerely thank you and all the staff at Balgowlah RSL for helping to make this special occasion for my mum, and all our family, such a happy and memorable day.Kind Regards Anne
Everything was terrific and fun had by all. Your staff were great. I think it was Justin who hand held me Saturday with everything from AV guidance, unscheduled table tweaks, and everything else that goes with the turf.
