RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

“In accordance with the State Liquor Act of NSW and the Registered Club Act, Management and Staff of Balgowlah RSL Memorial Club will ensure Responsible Service of alcohol at all times.

Liquor Act 2007 states it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.

Anyone who is believed to be intoxicated by alcohol, drugs or misuse of medication, will not be allowed to enter the premises, or, if on the premises, will be required to leave.

Procedures and standards will be followed to ensure the safety, comfort and well being of all persons on the premises to ensure the highest standard of customer service possible”.

RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF GAMING

Balgowlah RSL Memorial Club understands and accepts that while Club activities do not cause compulsive gambling or alcohol abuse, they do provide an opportunity for some people to pursue these destructive behaviours.

Balgowlah RSL Memorial Club accepts that we have a responsibility to the Community to assist in alleviating problem gambling by providing diligent compliance with all laws and regulations, proactive education / information and reactive treatment resource and information”.
